OKR template to broaden understanding of royalty components in contracts

This OKR aims at enhancing the understanding of royalty components in contracts. To achieve this, the objective is divided into three parts. The first one is to complete a comprehensive course on contract royalty structures by the end of Q2. The initiatives include course selection, enrolment, and coursework.

The second part of this objective revolves around initiating informative discussions with 3 expert lawyers specifically versed in contractual royalties. This requires the identification of suitable lawyers, preparing vital questions about contractual royalties, and scheduling and conducting discussions with them.

Thirdly, there is a requirement to analyse and comprehend 20 past contracts with varying royalty conditions. The intent is to fully understand the differing conditions in each contract, so a deep evaluation is in order. The key initiatives under this part include organising and reviewing the contracts, identifying the varied conditions, and summarising the findings.

In summary, this OKR methodically addresses understanding royalty components in contracts through a structured approach of formal learning, insightful discussions with experts, and practical analysis of past contracts.
