OKR template to explore doctors' insights in prescribing COVID-19 antivirals

This OKR seeks to explore and understand doctors' perspectives and case-by-case reasoning when it comes to prescribing COVID-19 antiviral drugs, such as remdesivir. The first objective targets the collection of primary data through 30 semi-structured interviews with physicians, outlining key themes and insights. To achieve this, guidelines for the semi-structured interviews need to be planned, a list of 30 physicians for the interviews should be compiled, and the interviews should be arranged and executed.

The second objective focuses on the analysis of interview data to identify recurring themes of prescribing rationale among physicians. These findings would offer valuable insight into the factors that weigh in on physicians’ decisions when prescribing antivirals to COVID-19 patients.

The final objective proposed is the development and sharing of a comprehensive report on physicians' prescribing perspectives for COVID-19 antivirals. The creation of this report depends on conducting further surveys to gather more extensive data, before analyzing this data and compiling a detailed report.

This report is then proposed to be shared with relevant stakeholders, likely to include hospital administration, health management agencies, and potentially policymakers or pharmaceutical companies. This sharing of findings promotes transparency, awareness, and potentially innovation in prescribing practices for these crucial drugs.
